Experience:

Having taught A-Level Maths, Physics and Chemistry for two years now as well as GCSE subjects for three years, I am extremely qualified to teach a student and help them achieve the best grades. I, myself, achieved all A*s and was admitted to the top universities in the world using the techniques and learning methods that I teach. My teaching style is very interactive as I believe that the only way to learn is to actually do the work yourself and try until you get it right.

Approach:

My tutoring lessons consist of 3 main sections. The first is the teaching and learning section. Here, I will teach the content that the student should learn in a way that they understand. Tailoring each lesson helps students retain the information better as everyone has a different learning style. The next portion is the practice section. I will give my student practice problems and expect them to attempt them as best as they can. From a bank of hundreds of problems, I handpick ones that will challenge the student yet build their confidence. I will guide the student if they are having any difficulty. The last section is review. Going over concepts learnt in class at the end is a useful way to retain all the information and will help the student memorise what has been covered.
