Experience:Currently, I serve as Lead English Instructor at Lycée Bonaparte in Doha, Qatar, where I design and deliver International Baccalaureate English Language and Literature courses for a diverse student body. My role demands a commitment to fostering academic achievement across all ability ranges, reflecting the values outlined in your vision. Alongside this, my position as a part-time Lecturer in Communications at the University of Doha for Science and Technology, and my ongoing work with the British Council, Qatar, in teaching General and Business English, further reflect my versatility and dedication to impactful education.
Approach:I believe learners should finish their courses with skills they will be able to use in their everyday lives. These essential skills include problem solving and critical thinking, research and writing proficiency, and effective communication ability. In all of my tutoring I include elements intended to promote and impart these skills, and present the even the more abstract concepts in an accessible and engaging way that supports the development of independent and co-operative student learning through problem solving and critical thinking while scaffolding effective reading, note-taking and writing.
