Experience:I have several years of experience as a clinician and clinical supervisor in optometry, supported by an undergraduate degree in Medical and Visual Sciences and a Master’s in Optometry from Australia, after having completed my GSCE's and A levels (5A2 subjects) at Doha College. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering understanding rather than rote memorization. I strive to create a supportive and interactive environment, adapting my methods to individual learning styles and incorporating real-world examples to make complex concepts more approachable. With a solid background in biology and chemistry, I aim to offer practical insights that enrich the learning experience. I have tutored both university and high school students, including those preparing for standardized tests such as the GAMSAT and IELTS. Ultimately, my goal is to help students build their understanding and confidence as they pursue their academic aspirations.
Approach:I approach lesson planning with care and organisation, ensuring each session is tailored to the specific topics and chapters my students need to cover. Before we begin, I take the time to assess their strengths, weaknesses, and learning goals, which helps me create a personalised learning plan.
