Bachelor of Science in Biology (LAU), currently studying for Master of pharmacy (Qatar University)

Experience:

I hold a bachelor's degree in biology and am currently pursuing a master's degree in pharmacy. Volunteering as a tutor for an NGO provided me with invaluable teaching experience, allowing me to work with students across various grade levels and adapt my approach to meet the students' learning needs.

My primary goal is to simplify complex concepts and help students develop a deeper understanding and comprehension of the subject matter. I want students to enjoy learning and view it as an engaging experience rather than a task to complete.

Areas of expertise: Biology (cellular and molecular biology, anatomy and physiology, general biology 1 and 2, virology and immunology).

Language proficiency: C1 levels in French and English.

Approach:

In terms of my teaching style, I believe in adapting to the individual needs of each student. I will start by assessing their current knowledge, strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement, and will tailor my teaching methods accordingly. My teaching methods include, but are not limited to, whiteboard usage, animations or drawings for young students, solving practice tests, and homework questions.

As a tutor, my key strength is my patience and ability to explain complicated concepts in a way that is easy to understand. I also encourage active participation, asking questions, and creating a sense of curiosity in students, which helps them gain confidence in their abilities.

I am highly motivated to help students succeed and reach their academic goals, no matter how challenging it may be. I believe that I have a strong foundation in biology, French, English, and chemistry to teach students at various grade levels.
