Experience:I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with 13 years of teaching experience. I have taught in my home country, Ireland, and gained international teaching experience in Qatar and the UAE. I have taught all age groups in the primary sector and specialize in extra support for numeracy, literacy, spelling, science, and phonics. I have taught in both British and American curriculum schools.
Approach:I plan individual schemes of work to suit the additional needs of all pupils and use a wide range of teaching strategies. I plan and set appropriate targets and use assessment, differentiation, and questioning to help move progress forward.
