Experience:At the university, I tutored my classmates. Before tests, I used to simplify complex ideas for my friends and summarize the most important ones.
Approach:I start by looking over the course syllabus and underlining the important dates. For instance, we have to schedule in advance to complete a specific number of sessions in order to cover the material and get as much practice as possible for quizzes and midterms. In order to understand a student's struggles with a particular subject, I also prefer to meet with them one-on-one. Thus, we are able to choose the tutoring approach.
