For the past 15 years, I've had the privilege of teaching math to students from Grade 1 to Grade 12, and it has truly been my passion. Throughout my teaching career, I've strived to instill in my students not only an understanding of mathematical concepts but also a genuine love for the subject. By incorporating engaging and interactive teaching methods, I've aimed to make math enjoyable and accessible to all learners. Witnessing my students' enthusiasm for math blossom as they grasp complex concepts and develop problem-solving skills has been immensely rewarding. My ultimate goal is to inspire a lifelong appreciation for math, empowering students to approach it with confidence and enthusiasm both inside and outside the classroom.

Approach:

In mathematics education, a common approach to teaching involves a cycle of theory explanation, example problem-solving, and practice. First, the theory is explained, providing students with a conceptual understanding of the mathematical concept or principle being taught. This explanation may include definitions, key concepts, and theorems relevant to the topic at hand.
