Qualification:BEd Technology and Design with Information Technology
Experience:Qualified to teach DT, ICT and English till A-level, then mathematics to year 10. I am currently head of department for Design Technology teaching year 7-11 and also ICT for year 11. One year of experience tutoring English at GCSE and 3 years teaching DT and ICT also at GCSE level.
Approach:I find problem based learning works best, having students figure how to think logically on how to answer a challenge. I often use the structure of some theory, into how you would answer a question then how to develop your answers to get the fullest marks possible.
