Experience:

I have been teaching Vocals and Guitar to students of ages 5 to 50 since the past 4 years in Music schools across India and through Online classes. I am well versed in many genres such as Rock, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Grunge and Bollywood. I have been trained from Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music in Chennai, India by Berklee College graduates.

Approach:

I have a structured syllabus which I use to take students through the techniques they need to be able to sing and play guitar within a period of 6-8 months, which can be adjusted depending on the student's learning pace and amount of practise. For vocals I use physiological understanding of muscles and cavities for proper breathing and effortless production of the voice. The classes are divided into two parts, technique exercises and song study, so that the students learn to apply techniques along with learning them. I also prepare students for Trinity and Rock School Exams for grade certification.
