Experience:

I have a Bachelor's degree in Children's Studies, and completed a Master's degree in Teaching. I have also been teaching/tutoring for several years and have experience working with students from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. This has allowed me to develop a compassionate and adaptable teaching style that is responsive to the needs of my students. I have a wealth of experience in curriculum development, various pedagogical approaches and lesson planning.

Approach:

My teaching philosophy centers around the idea that all students have the capability to learn and improve. Therefore, I aim to establish a welcoming and inclusive learning atmosphere that promotes curiosity and independence. I prioritize staying up-to-date on the latest research and using a multitude of teaching methods to help student understand concept in more than one way. This includes a student-centred approach emphasizing hands-on learning and creativity, encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-expression. Additionally, I support personalized learning that addresses each student's needs and creates a comfortable atmosphere where students can ask questions, take risks, and learn from their mistakes.
