Qualification:

Doctorate in History and Social Sciences, Expert in Qatar History, Middle East, Europe, German, Arabic for Non-Natives.

Experience:

I am an Associate Professor and worked for over 13 years at Universities. For 10 years I taught History of Qatar at university and other topics at Qatar University. I have a certified university training in education and experience in teaching students in school from class 7 to class 12. I am a native speaker of English from the USA, but also speak fluently in Arabic and German and experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language.

Approach:

I am very student-friendly, easy-going, and make sure to cater to student needs and learning style. The student is always the center of my teaching: I make to explain in a way he or she understands and the he or she is able to put the material in their own words and understand it. I am able to explain anything in both English and Arabic. I particularly love to give exciting lessons on the History of Qatar. When teaching language, (e.g. English, German, or Arabic for Non-Native Speakers) I emphasize the practical use of this language, and teach practical vocabulary, expressions, and grammar. I push my students to actively practice their language with me.
