Experience:I am a UK trained teacher who has studied at two prestigious UK universities. I have been teaching for 10 years, 7 of which have been as a head of department. Both within the UK and now here in Doha. During this time I have always taught to a higher level of A-level or IBDP. I am an approachable, friendly but experienced teacher, who will be adaptive in my tutor style to meet the needs of any student. Setting clear expectations in my lessons ensuring student progression to their highest level.
Approach:I will start my tutoring journey by having a small discussion with the student of their experience to far in the subject, and by completing baseline assessments to gain a full understanding of a students needs. From here I will be adaptive to both the academic level and the personality of the student to ensure each lesson is planned for the student to gain maximum achievement for their potential. I see my tutoring as very individual, catering to the needs of each specific student.
