MA graduate in applied linguistics

Experience:

I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran to have majored English literature as my BA and accomplished applied linguistics for MA degree. Also I have been teaching English for over the past decade. Therefore, I find myself with predilection towards this sacred career because I have had the opportunity to tutor different age groups.

Approach:

I always think it ahead to provide the learners with a warm up through brain storming ( creating an image in their mind, telling a relevant story, etc). I also make them familiar with required lexical as well as the syntax to build the language. Then the content is contextualized, personalized in order to meet the authenticity. In addition, I arrange discussion to elicit as much of the input as possible. I used to apply communicative approach, however, I have tried to combine that with flavor of creativity and passion.
