Experience:I have completed BS and MS, and have an experience of 12 years in teaching across various curriculums. My lessons are structured in a way that encourages student engagement and exploration of concepts. I use hands-on activities to ensure students have the opportunity to interact with content and receive immediate feedback on their understanding. My lesson plans involve inquiry-based learning where I lead my students to explore problems on their own, but also provide them with guidance and scaffolding when needed. I strive to help my students develop deeper understanding of subject material by providing differentiated instruction tailored to their individual needs and abilities. What makes my lessons one of a kind is my approach of fostering collaboration between the student and me. Through engaging conversations about the material being learned, I am able to discover how each student thinks, learns, and processes new information.
Approach:I try to teach in the most practical ways by integrating real-life, application based approaches in my sessions. My tutoring techniques include a combination of guided discovery and explicit instruction which allows students the chance to take ownership over their learning experience while simultaneously making sure they get all necessary information they need. To achieve this, I always begin lessons with setting expectations by letting my students know what skills they will gain through our session.
