Experience:
I am proactive, energetic, and meticulously plan my teaching.
I create long and short term plans or one-time lessons. I foster a learning environment where students feel confident and happy.
I focus on visual elements and main ideas. A typical lesson is divided into several parts: a quick review, the main lesson, an application and a summary.
After each lesson, I provide students with additional resources if they wish to review it on their own, I email any work we have done together.
Approach:
Mathematics at ANY LEVEL.
1 - Support for exams, homework, exercises, entrance tests, assignments, clarifications, recovery, reinforcement and deepening of your skills.
2 - Preparation of short and long term objectives, correction and improvement of the study method, individual program for beginners and for students who intend to deepen their skills.
3 - Writing, proofreading and editing (in LaTeX or professional software) of papers, dissertations, reports, presentations, slides, research.
I have supported students with the need to:
- To learn effectively and efficiently, to pass an upcoming or long-term exam or test;
- Deepen, train and improve previous knowledge through independent study;
- To complete exercises with my guide;
- Learn from scratch, without any prior knowledge
- To recover subjects that have never been worked on or that have been badly explained during their studies;
My teaching is based on the precise and clear explanation, through numerous analogies, images and examples, of the questions asked by the student and of the topics covered, as well as on exercises carried out by the student and guided by me. The objective is to give the student the ability to solve problems and think intuitively and logically, rather than using a sterile mnemonic method. A "Theoretical Injection" will be made for each chosen topic, presenting and briefly justifying all the tools that will be used later. Then, a simple practical case will be analyzed, starting with an exercise or case of low difficulty (depending on the level chosen) to show the application of the tool introduced at the beginning. Finally, an exercise of medium/high difficulty will be studied, justifying the procedure used and showing all connections. After having given you the tools and having presented a practical case, I will propose a simple exercise and it will be your turn: I will write on the board everything you tell me to write and I will let you continue solving, when you need my help I will explain how to proceed or I will just give you the guidelines, it's up to you. Of course, I will gradually increase the difficulty of the tasks proposed but with the certainty of always getting YOU to solve them, independently!
