Experience:I am an experienced UK tutor with experience of coaching Oxbridge candidates in both History and Politics. I try and bring all topics to life using a core philosophy of telling stories whilst ensuring the students has an excellent knowledge base. I have a Masters in Education and a PGCE in History. I am currently Head of History and Politics at a high achieving international school.
Approach:I try and use real life examples as a hook to grab a students attention. My subject knowledge and ability to convey historical and political ideas is one of the reasons I have been a high achieving teacher for 15 years. I am able to work on a students written work to ensure it has structure, flow and analytical style. Alongside that I look to encourage the softer skills of public speaking, debate and challenging the orthodox opinion.
