UK Qualifications in Mathematical Sciences BSc (Hons), PGCE Secondary Education Mathematics

Experience:

I have fifteen years experience teaching mathematics at Key Stage 2 through to Key Stage 4 along with teaching mathematics in in the UK and in Qatar. I am an adaptable, flexible and energetic individual with a positive attitude as well as an effective communicator. Computer literacy is a strength of mine and I strive to make this an underpinning tool in the subject I teach.

Approach:

I am a honest, friendly and approachable tutor who adapts my teaching methods to suit the needs of my students. I believe in having a strong positive relationship with my students and their parents. My sessions are well planned with clear aims and objectives, clear explanations and well timed intervention. I always set homework to consolidate learning that has taken place.
