PGCE (Physics) from King's College London, BSc in Biology (First Class with Honours) from Queen's University Belfast, A-levels in all 3 Sciences (Grade A)

Experience:

I am an experienced Head of Science, Teacher and now full-time Online Tutor with a strong track record of improving my students' grades. I do this by identifying and filling gaps in knowledge and understanding, emphasising application of knowledge to new situations, and a focus on exam technique. I tutor the following at each level: A-level and IB: Biology and Physics; GCSE and iGCSE: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science; KS2 and KS3: General Science and Mathematics

Approach:

My exact style of teaching varies from student to student and depends on their style of learning, content requirements and whether they are working toward a specific exam. I use a combination of Zoom/Skype etc. and interactive whiteboard to work face to face and collaboratively with my students.
