I am currently enrolled in a graduate program, MA Contemporary Islamic Thought, at HBKU, Doha - Qatar. And I have previously done BS Social Sciences I have in the last one year done several professional teaching certifications: 1. Making Thinking Visible -Project Zero (Harvard Graduate School of Education, Harvard University) 2. Cat 1 -Theory of Knowledge Workshop 3. Cat 1 - Social and Cultural Anthropology Workshop - IBDP Teacher - IBDP Theory of Knowledge Examiner

Approach:

I believe in dialogical method of teaching where the teacher and the students are learners at the same time, unlike the conventional method of teaching where the teacher only deposits information in the students' minds -and is not a listener himself or herself -without giving them an opportunity to reflect and express their thoughts to feel comfortable sharing ideas and doubts. This, I feel, makes teaching fruitful, and leads to a holistic understanding of the phenomenon being studied in the lessons/classrooms.
