Experience:

I am a qualified early years practitioner with 8 years of experience. I currently work as a curriculum coordinator/ headteacher in an early years' setting. Some of my duties are to oversee lesson plans, observe teachers and ensure that students are being developed in all 7 areas of the British EYFS curriculum. I teach phonics, reading by blending phonics, pre-writing, and writing to foundation stages 1& 2 students. I also teach English to students up to 4th grade.

Approach:

My teaching style is a nice blend of the British EYFS and the Reggio Emilia teaching approaches. My lessons are planned to ensure that students learn through play and use their cognitive skills to achieve tasks. The idea of learning upsets some students but play-based learning makes appeals to every child.
