Experience:I have 5 years of classroom experience and an additional 2 years of TAing university Calculus and Linear Algebra, and I've tutored students for well over 11 years. I completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor of Education Degree with a specialization in Secondary Mathematics from the University of Calgary. Currently, I’m working on a Master of Science Degree with a major in Applied and Computational Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University.
Approach:I like to understand what my student's needs/wants are and tailor my sessions to that. My expertise in mathematics allows me to comfortably make changes to any of my plans according to the needs of my students, and once I get to know my students, I'll focus on any weakness or discrepancies in their understanding to help them excel in their learning.
