Experience:

I have obtained the CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) certification upon receiving extensive training in teaching and tutoring. I have been tutoring children in French & English (starting age 3 until 18) both privately and for various educational organizations, and I am also a peer tutor for university-level students. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced French learner, you are more than welcome to join and improve your language skills!

Approach:

First of all, I like to make sure that my tutees are having a good time: learning a language is fun! With that being mentioned, learning also requires consistency, focus, and structure. For this reason, I believe that having clear communication is of utmost importance during the lessons: together we define specific goals, assess what fits the tutee best, and make sure that we are always on the same page and progressing at a pace that works for the student. I tailor my lessons and teaching plan according to what YOU need and what works best with your learning styles.
