Experience:I tutor students from the age of 3-18 including kindergarten English, primary English, secondary English, IGCSE Cambridge and Edexcel English as a Second Language and First Language, IB Extended Essays and Cambridge AS General Paper. Qualifications - MA TESOL and Applied Linguistics/ BA Hons Sociology from Manchester Metropolitan University I pride myself on being charismatic and developing a great relationship with my students.
Approach:I quickly establish a level of credibility with students and their parents. I'm able to develop fun and interactive ways to teach my students. My motto as a teacher is 'Perceive, Practice, Perfect'; I always ensure that the student talk time is higher than my talk time as I believe that the students can learn by practising and being more interactive. For GCSES and A Levels, I use past papers, as I strongly believe that the more students practise past papers, the more successful they will be on the exam and this will alleviate exam anxiety.
