PhD (University of Cambridge), Masters (University of Cambridge) and BA

Experience:

 My teaching experience is varied as I have taught students aged from 13 to 18 years, in addition to teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. I am a qualified teacher of English to speakers of other languages (Cambridge-CELTA). In addition to teaching Academic English, I have taught General English and prepared students for the IELTS and TOEFL examinations. Also, I have supported students in their preparation for the MCAT and SAT examinations. I have 3 years of progressive experience lecturing to undergraduates students studying Philosophy, Politics, Business, Finance, Economics, Research Methods, and Academic English. In addition to my teaching experience, I have worked at the United Nations (UN), the WorldBank, and the WTO. Additionally, I have assisted numerous students with thesis writing at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Most recently, I have supported students with preparing for IGCSE examinations in English (first and second language), Business and Economics.              

I am able to assist with writing university applications. 

Approach:

Lessons are planned around the requirements of the course that the student is undertaking. The expectations of the student are also taken into consideration when lessons are being prepared.
