Experience:I am a UK trained Primary teacher. My main area of strength is teaching English and maths to students whose home or first language is not English. I am also qualified in teaching Primary Math's, Science and Geography. I am an enthusiastic teacher with a passion for learning. I have been a teacher in a UK primary school and before that was an EAL (English as an additional language) teacher. I am very happy to help with homework as well as preparation for assessments.
Approach:I plan and make my lessons as rewarding and fun as possible so that my pupils enjoy their learning and want to continue working with me. I provide my own teaching materials and resources that I use with my own class. My lessons are planned to meet the needs of each individual child and will also be tailored towards their assessments so that they can achieve the best score possible. Within my lessons I try to cover as many areas as I can so that my time with the pupil is most effective. During a lesson I try to complete any homework, and an area of either Math's, Science or English and then finish off with either spelling practice; handwriting practice or sentence work.
