Experience:I am currently in my 10th year of teaching as a native English speaker. I completed two years in Ireland, two years in England and starting my third year here in Qatar. I have worked in various schools with all different levels and needs. I have experience in teaching Geography, History, Social Studies, PE and English in both secondary and primary. I have two years tutoring experience from England, mainly preparing students for GCSE exams. I have been tutoring in Qatar since I arrived. I am a patient teacher with high expectations.
Approach:I will give a baseline test in the subject, this will allow me to assess their level. I will then use this to plan my lessons and alter them weekly. I will discus with the parents and child what in particular they need to improve on and use it as my focus. I am more than happy to help with homework and I will be asking the child to complete homework for me some weeks. I will keep a track of their progress and provide feedback. I am very approachable and have high standards with lots of experience to get the best out of your child.
