Approach:

First 5 minutes would be getting to know who. Could be 2 to 3 questions anything under the sun to set the mood. But remember to be cautious so as not to hurt any feelings. Recap of the previous lessons, if any. For the lesson plan I prepare series of questions and examples regarding the topic. It would be more than enough. Students not required not to jot down things since every end of session I will provide the summary of topics discussed with enough descriptions, definitions and examples ofcourse. No surprise examinations. 😄 I always ask for any questions at the end of discussion, but the student may ask during the discussion to cater anything in mind immediately. This is to avoid misconcentration. Next day topic will be given for advance reading.
