Experience:

I am originally from Sri Lanka with three years work experience at the Royal Institute English for Juniors class. I taught the curriculum across multiple batches of classes averaging 20 students each.

Approach:

I absolutely love teaching and strongly believe that what's being taught should be relatable. I mean.whats the point of learning Shakespearean quotes and mathematical formulas if you can't apply them in real life right? If you want that good grade and also wish to hold on to what you've studied for life - hit me up!

I believe that each student is different, and hence my tutoring will vary depending on each child's ability. I will first run a practice class where I identify the problem areas of each student. I will then come up with a lesson plan that addresses those areas. At the same time the lesson plan will integrate with key areas of the school curriculum ensuring that the student is up to date. It is through continuous practice that students improve. Hence I will be providing them with worksheets after each lesson and monthly assessments to monitor their progress. Group or one to one classes can be arranged as per the student's request.
