BS in History, Minor in Anthropology, TEFL/TESOL/TESL Certification

Experience:

As a native English speaker from the US, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with others. My Bachelor of Science in history has provided me with excellent reading, writing, research, and critical thinking skills. Additionally, my certificate in TEFL/TESOL/TESL allows me to teach English as a second language to all ages and all levels. I have tutored international students at my university, worked as an au pair in Italy, managed an EYFS nursery in Qatar, and continue tutoring to all ages.

Approach:

Every student is different, and therefore I must get to know each of my students before designing a plan specific to his/her needs. Typically, we would practice grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing. However, conversation is the most important! Talk, talk, talk! I like to speak with my students about everyday life events, likes, dislikes - really anything that well get them talking! In the end, I want my students to want to learn and to enjoy practicing English, or any subject they need assistance in.
