Experience:

I have gained 2 year experience tutoring students one to one. I Include central strategies and initiatives to improve literacy, numeracy and thinking skills to all learning areas. I have gained invaluable experience, in all key stages, in a range of schools. I have encountered different ability groups and used a variety of approaches. I practice that teaching is a cycle of action, evaluation and revision. I have the ability, through experience, to deliver high standard results.

Approach:

I adjust my strategies toward students’ learning needs. I like to be both a demonstrator and a facilitator. I like to demonstrate my expertise by presenting the students with what they need to know first. Then facilitate the lesson to promote self-learning and help students develop critical thinking skills and retain knowledge. Establish a good teacher-pupil relationship which reinforces inclusion and respect. Challenging pupils knowledge, setting a pace that will suit them/ help improvement
