PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) and BA in History

Experience:

I have only begun to take up tutoring, I never had the time previous but have since have cleared time to help children who require one to one help. - I enjoyed my PGCE course immensely and have found that both my college and school experiences have been extremely beneficial in strengthening, progressing and enhancing my continuing professional development.

Approach:

I will cater the lessons to every individual child, each lesson I will begin with introducing a certain topic. I will go over a number of questions, giving the child ample opportunity to ask questions about how it is done. I will allow the child the chance to do work independently whilst I observe and take note of how the child is getting on and what do they struggle with. Personally I think my reflective style of teaching will lead to future lessons being more beneficial.
