Bachelor's degree in MIS with a minor in Marketing

Experience:

I have tutored business maths I and II in Qatar University for approx. two and a half years. Throughout my experience I have dealt with different kinds of students with varying abilities, which taught me how to approach each student differently and use different techniques while explaining. I have earned the excellent service award in peer tutoring in Spring 2017.

Approach:

I start off tutoring sessions by "breaking the ice" between my student and I, to get them comfortable. Then I try to figure out what the main problem/area of weakness is to best-address it. I allow my students to try to solve problems by themselves and make as many mistakes as they should to really understand what they're doing, then I correct them and guide them to find the answer to the problem.
