Experience:I am a Colombian journalist with more than 12 years of experience working for companies in corporate communications. I am certified as Spanish Teacher for Foreigners (International House Institute Madrid - Barcelona University) and I have more than 11 years of experience teaching Spanish in Qatar.
Approach:I'm offering private spanish lessons, so the student's rhythm shows how fast he will improve. It's not like in a formal institute where you follow a guide book during a term and at the end you reach the next level even if you didn't learn all the topics of your course. According to Common European Framework of Reference (CEF), there are 6 levels: A1, A2 for beginners B1, B2 for intermediate and C1, C2 Advanced and Native speakers. Each level you will find divided in three or four terms. I could say if you take 80 lessons approximately you could learn the topics of one term (120 hours in a formal institute). But any case is different and the student improvement depends on his own pace, availability, number of lessons per week, homework, etc. Content: Customized. It depends on your level and specific needs. Grammar, Reading, Listening, Speaking and vocabulary. I have different sources: books, games, cards, podcasts, blogs, videos, etc. I will provide you copies for each lesson.
