Qualification:Bachelor of Education honours degree in primary teaching
Experience:I am a young and enthusiastic primary school teacher with a background of experience in working with children aged 4-11. I am from the United Kingdom and teach children with English as an additional language here in Doha. I have taught children from different Key Stages. I am patient, cooperative and dedicated, qualities which are essential to working with children. I have been involved in various projects which have strengthened my style of teaching, e.g. youth clubs and summer camps.
Approach:Firstly, I assess the level of learning of all students and base planning on this. Lessons will include an objective which I desire to achieve by the end of each session. My lessons are suited to meet the needs of the learner at all times. I endeavour to find out the interests and hobbies of my students so that learning is fun for the students. I like to use different resources to make learning interesting and engaging in each session, e.g. visuals for students with English as an additional language.
