Experience:I am a recent graduate from the American University of Sharjah, and have been tutoring since December 2016. I believe my clear communication skills and in depth understanding of Mathematics and Physics concept allow me to effectively convey information to the student. I am a native English speaker, and am a very strong writer and reader. I offer free demo lessons so feel free to contact me to test me out!
Approach:My approach will be to essentially pretend to be a classmate of the student, and try to convey the information necessary at the level of the student. Often times, tutors have taught and studied the same topics over and over and become ignorant to the difficulties of learning a subject for the first time. I believe my in depth understanding will allow me to not just regurgitate information from a book or lecture, but to simplify and effectively convey the concepts to the student. My techniques will be face to face and hands-on. My teaching technique will be a three step process; 1. Understand the difficulty of the student 2. Simplify the problem 3. Attack the problem with increasing difficulty. Of course, each student will have strengths and weaknesses in regards to learning methods, so the structure of learning will always be adaptable.
