Experience:

I have been in the teaching sector for 7 years graduating with a Bachelor of Education. I have taught and am confident in teaching the British Curriculum and have taught international students in Qatar for two years. I taught previously in London at Secondary level teaching social studies also. I have experience in examination style studies and assessments having teaching children from KS1 to KS3.

Approach:

I have tutored 5 children with different learning abilities. In our first session I will complete a baseline assessment for the subject (e.g. Mathematics, English and Science) I will then create an IEP (Idividual Education Plan) identifying the child's strengths and weaknesses. I will plan work using a range of resources from textbooks I have gathered over my teaching career. I will also aim to aid children in their school work and address areas they need support in to improve their learning in school.
