Experience:

I am currently a Primary school teacher but I also have experience teaching at secondary level. I am currently a Year 6 teacher and so have experience preparing students for the SATS and good subject knowledge of the British curriculum. I have experience teaching Geography at GCSE level and English at KS3 level. I have taught at both KS1 and KS2 level and have experience tutoring both age groups.

Approach:

When tutoring, I develop an individual plan for the pupil after identifying their strengths and areas for development. I then work with the pupil, in communication with the parent to help them to excel and reach their full academic potential. During tutoring sessions, I use a number of resources to engage and help the student including the use of games, work packs and past papers. I will also carry out mini assessments to check the child's progress.
