Experience:I love teaching. I have been involve with tutoring for a while now and the results from students who have been under me has been tremendous. I am a graduate of both Building Technology and Quantity Surveying. Both courses require great knowledge of mathematics and physics; the reason why I like them and interested to pass on the knowledge.
Approach:I plan my lesson by preparing notes on topics to be taught. I am always guided by what interest the students and what is needed by the students. I make sure I use the required curriculum to capture the students' need. With this, I know the aim and objectives required. I make sure I involve my students in the process of teaching. I try to create an enabling environment where even shy students can contribute by asking questions, or raising observations. This prepares the mind to receive new knowledge. I make use of several techniques in delivery my goals such as; questions, illustrations, explanation, expositions, demonstration and sensory aids.
