Experience:I have been teaching for 10 years, and have been teaching in Doha for 8 years in an international school. Fluent English speaker with experience in all key stage: 1, 2 and 3. Key Stage 3 is mainly Mathemtatics. Usually with younger children (5-7) a more practical approach is best then transfer knowledge to paper, whereas older children (8-11) are accustomed to working in booklet. But the practical side to learning can be relevant with older children as well.
Approach:I would need to see the curriculum for the age group of the child, and in turn would then assess the child to see what level they are on, as you would not want to start off too low or too high. From the assessments, I can then set activities for all subjects to meet the learning curriculum.
