Qualification:

UK Post Graduate Certificate in Primary Education, Cambridge Computer Literacy, European Computer Driving License, Advanced Excel

Experience:

UK qualified teacher. 7 years experience in UK schools plus 4 years teaching in Doha. I also have a wealth of tutoring experience. I have worked with a variety of stages and provide a contextualised, motivating learning experience for children to develop. I ensure that children receive the appropriate support and challenge so that all are working to the best of their ability. I am an approachable teacher who creates a positive learning environment, encouraging a "can do" attitude to all tasks at hand. I ensure that children are able to identify their next targets and provide them with a plan of action to achieve goals.

Approach:

Working together to achieve the results you and your child are aiming for.  I try to motivate my students through exciting and stimulating resources and build up a programme of work catered to each individual students needs. All plans and work will be discussed with parents/guardians, which would outline goals and targets that we would work towards throughout the tutoring process. I use a mixture of written tasks, practical activities and games and the use of ICT to support learners in all curricular areas.
