Qualification:

I have a degree in English and a post graduate certificate in KS1 and KS2. I have worried in the UK for 3 and have been living in Doha for 4 years. I have worked in year 2, 3, 5 and 6.

Experience:

In the UK I have tutored students in year 6 in preparation for SATs. i have also worked with a pupil who had English as an additional language. in Doha I have worked with students in year 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Tutoring in English, Maths, Science, French and History. Tutoring allows a child to fulfill their potential and increases a child's confidence in areas where they need strengthening.

Approach:

I believe that learning should be fun with elements of challenge. Every child has the right to fulfill their potential. In my sessions it is important that the student is engaged in their learning. In consultation with the parent and student I identify areas that require strengthening. My sessions cater for visual, audio and kinaesthetic learners.
