  1. Many students choose to complete at least part of their university studies in a foreign country. What are some advantages and disadvantages of studying abroad? Give your opinion. Higher level Of education - Outside Qatar, there are more opportunities when it comes to certain professions and when it comes to pursuing higher levels of education such as PhD studies. Internationally recognized - In addition, universities overseas such as ones in the UK, US or Canada hold more value than other ones. Idea 3 Culture - Moreover, it is a great chance to gain exposure to other cultures and acquire skills in working in a diverse environment. Body Paragraph 2 - disadvantages • Topic Sentence However, there are also a number of negative aspects to consider when it comes to deciding to study overseas. Away from family/homesickness - For example, one may experience homesickness as a result from being away from their friends and family. Cost - Additionally, students may experience higher living costs due to travel and accommodation which may burden them. Conclusion • Restate thesis • Summary of main points • Final comment In conclusion, even though there are pros to learning in a university found in a foreign country, taking into consideration the drawbacks that have been mentioned, I will never support this way of educating. Your writing is graded on four things: Task response (25%) Coherent and cohesiveness (25%) Vocabulary (25%) Grammar (25%) This task is worth 75% of your writing grade and you will be given 40 minutes. You have to write a minimum of 250 words. Spend 5 minutes making your outline. Spend 5 minutes at the end revising and checking your grammar, punctuation, spelling and vocabulary. Spend 30 minutes actually writing.
