Course Outline:

• Introduction to the course and programme of learning
• Tutor discussion of approaches to self-managed learning
• Learners to evaluate own skills and identify personal development needs
• Learners to construct own personal development plans with SMART objectives
• Learners to undertake and document development activities over at least 6 months
• Construct a portfolio of evidence to support the learning plan
• At end of at least 6 months evaluate own progress against SMART objectives and critically reflect on own development
• Review of the training
