Course Details

The Diploma in Business Management (SCQF level 11) is a postgraduate level qualification.

A Masters degree (awarded by a UK university) is an example of an SCQF level 11 qualification.

The Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) is a partnership between the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, College Development Network, the Scottish Qualifications Authority, and Universities Scotland.

Diploma in Business Management (BM) is designed to meet the needs of senior/middle managers in the running of their businesses, and to facilitate their progression to higher levels within their organisation.

Managers need to be aware of issues, able to analyse their potential outcomes and consequences, and decide how to react. They do not have to be an expert in all areas of business, but they need to possess a general awareness of what specialist facilities and services exist, and how they can assist in carrying out that role.
