Computer Laboratory Set up at Kosovo School by Qatar Charity

The support of people in Qatar, Qatar charity, has set up a computer lab at a school in the municipality of Mitrovica. So, it could develop the standards of education of the school students.

Khalid Abdullah Al Yafie, the director of the Project Management at Qatar Charity, white he visited Qatar Charity’s office which is in Kosovo, he handed over 18 computers to Agim Bahtiri, mayor of Mitrovica and local officials.

Agim Bahtiri, expressed his sincere gratitude for the gifts given by Qatar Charity along with the generous support of the people in Qatar. “It is very essential for the students of this school to put the theories they learn into practice,” he said. He also appreciated the valuable support and great work carried out by Qatar Charity in Mitrovica.

The mayor even honoured Khalid Abdullah Al Yafie with the Municipality’s Shield and a Certificate of Thanks, for the efforts of Qatar Charity in Kosovo.

Great happiness was expressed by the parents and students in this project. Qatar Charity has implemented many projects in Kosovo in support of the orphans, needy, low-income families, and special children. Those sponsored by the charity, the number increased to more than 3,000 persons.

More than 430 projects generated incomes, on the other hand, 550 projects were implemented in the field of sanitation and water. For building homes for poor 40 development projects were additionally carried.

A total of 23 agreements have been authorised with the various governmental and local authorities in Kosovo in 2018 and the number of minimalities increased by 30% cooperating with Qatar Charity.
